The Shropshire Loaf


The Shropshire Loaf is made from wheat grown on Pimhill Farm in Shropshire.
It is milled using traditional millstones in Pimhill Mill and then baked by Swift’s Bakery in Ludlow.

Pimhill Farm is farmed by the Mayall family.
It has been organic since 1949 and the family have been milling flour since the 1950s.

The Swift family have been baking since 1863. It is currently run by the fifth generation.
