Classic Overnight Oats

Enjoy a nourishing start to your day. Soaking oats and seeds overnight makes them easier to digest, and the oats will be extra creamy. Great for a breakfast straight from the fridge. This recipe provides a perfect base that can be used with any toppings you like, so you can have a different breakfast every day of the week.

For 1 serving –

  • 50g Pimhill Organic Jumbo Oats
  • 100ml milk of your choice
  • 200g natural yoghurt
  • 1 tblsp Chia seeds (optional)

Method:

Combine the Pimhill Organic Jumbo Oats, milk, yoghurt and chia seeds in an airtight jar. Seal or cover with a lid, and chill in the fridge for at least 2 hours or overnight.

Ideas for toppings:

Fruits: sliced bananas, fresh berries, diced apples, sultanas

Nuts: almonds, walnuts, cashews, pecans, hazelnuts

Seeds: pumpkin seeds, chia seeds, flaxseeds, sunflower seeds

Sweetners: maple syryup, honey, agave syrup, golden syrup, broken up pieces of chocolate

Spices: cinnamon, nutmeg

An idea! – If you have an almost empty jar of peanut butter, use it to make your peanut butter overnight oats. Just add all your ingredients into the jar, combine, let soak and then enjoy straight from the jar – delicious!
